We were playing games under the scroching sun yesterday morning. AYG was, in general, a good time of class bonding, but you can also say that it was also 'bond breaking of the standard'. Some of the games were rough, fierce, and many of the players were agressive. But i took away something from the games yesterday. Although my team was desperate to win, the game can still be played fairly, and at the same time, we can also express our care and concern for our teammates as well as our rivals. After all, we all belong to the same MGS family. No doubt some classes had good players, they were not violent or get upset over small matters. I figured that i have to learn to be more patient, more forgiving, and to take things more lightly when necessary. Overall, I am glad my class had fun together. Although some of us did not leave school yesterday with some cuts and bruises from the many rough matches that we played, we all had a good time of work out and fun. Thank the good Lord for seeing the basketball team into the finals, where we lost to the SBC class. The other 2 sports, floorball and soccer, did well enough to qualify into the semis, but they unfortunatly lost...and there wasnt a play-off for 3rd.
Poor me, I have a blood clot on the big toe of my right foot now, and it hurts when i walk. :(
Today is Palm Sunday - the start of the holy week, and the last Sunday of the season of lent. Yes, I dont really observe this lent thingy, because i cant fast-nationals is coming and i have to study for midyears, so i need the glucose to keep my brain working. (but i wouldn't mind fasting actually.) DJW for the next 3 days at school. It is my prayer that many lives will be touched and saved during this period, and that I will be able to see God moving in the hearts of many students in my last year in MGS. I pray for open hearts of those who havent received Chirst into their lives, but also for the believers who will help their new sisters in Chirst grow. I have FAITH that the DJW this year will be an awesome one!
