Haven't written in proper english for a long time! Let me just tell you abit about my trip first. I haven't submitted my reflections to Pastor yet...uhoh. Haha. Okay, here i go.In Egypt, the thing i liked most was Mount Sinai. First, we took a camel ride for 2 hours halfway up the mountain. Then, if we wanted to get to the top, we have to get up there by foot. There were afew hundred steps to climb, plus, the higher the altitude, the thinner the air is. My brother and I decided to climb together, since my parents were relatively slow as they were tired when we were climbing. We were the 4th and 5th person from our group to make it to the top. That was not bad right? We were last when we first started off. Guess who was the top three climbers? Haha. They were all from the other church which combined with my church for this trip. At the submit, it was really good because we caught the last few moments of the sunset. The pictures we took was really nice too. Haha. After catching our breath, we went down afew steps to cheer the rest on. For me, it was really encouraging to see so many other brothers and sisters in christ pant their way up to the top. It was tough for altheles, whats more for the others? After all of us completed our journey up, Pastor annointed us with oil. That was really meaningful. We also sang a song there, and poured oil all over, as a sign of annointing over the mountain. We then made our way down together as a team. The steps were relatively steap and so we took a long time to make our way down. When the sky was dark, we looked up into the sky and we say many many stars...uncountable. It was beautiful. Someone then mentioned about the story of Abraham. It reminded me about what God spoke to him. In general, Mount Sinai was one of my favourite places that we visited.
Another thing about Egypt-the pyramids. It was awesome! I still cannot imagine how the people in the past climbed up so high just stacking blocks of stone on the pyramid!
Okay then, I will write about Israel the next time. I have to go now. In the mean while, guess which was my favourite place? A price for the first person who can guess it right at the first try-terms and conditions apply. Haha. Like those who were at pastor's room on the last night will know. (:
